                               RESOLUTION NO. 20297
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO DEED
                   THE JAMES A. HENRY SCHOOL PROPERTY TO THE
                   CHATTANOOGA HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR USE IN THE
                   EXPANDED DOWNTOWN RIVERFRONT REDEVELOPMENT
                   PROJECT, AGREEING TO FUND ONE HUNDRED
                   THOUSAND DOLLARS ($100,000.00) FROM THIS
                   YEAR'S BUDGET TOWARD SAID PROJECT, AND
                   AGREEING TO FUND UP TO A TOTAL OF TWO
                   HUNDRED TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS
                   ($227,000.00) DURING THE CONTINUATION OF
                   SAID PROJECT.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to deed the James A. Henry School property to the Chattanooga
       Housing Authority for use in the expanded Downtown Riverfront
       Redevelopment project, agreeing to fund $100,000.00 from this
       year's budget toward said project, and agreeing to fund up to a
       total of $227,000.00 during the continuation of said project.
